I took the road less traveled by.....

Whenever I wonder through paths in the woods, (as I have been doing all weekend this weekend whilst staying at Marthrown of Marbie in a Yurt).  I think  of this poem that I discovered whilst travelling in India.  It was written on the back of a old compass that was being sold on a street stall.  And I am glad for all of the times that I have followed my heart and 'took the road less traveled by...'

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day! 
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

    Kristina is a Yoga teacher and artist who lives in Braunton, North Devon with her husband, two children and a cat. 
    Kristina trained with Yoga Scotland/BWY (500h training) in 2012, whilst living in Edinburgh and has since qualified as a specialist in children's yoga and pregnancy and post natal yoga.  After moving to Devon, Kristina has worked within local children's centers and with Active Devon to bring classes to those who would not usually be able to access them.
